View ProductOur high-capacity rotor screen is engineered for applications up to 1000 tonnes per day, subject to feed characteristics and plant configuration.
Purpose-built for bio-mining of legacy waste from dumpsites. Fully integrated system for soil, recyclables, and compost recovery.
View ProductWe go beyond equipment — from pre-purchase consultation to long-term plant operation, we're your partner at every stage.
Our process engineers review feed characteristics, target output, throughput and site constraints before proposing equipment. Process-flow modelling helps identify potential bottlenecks, improve crusher and screen selection, and shape a practical layout before an order is placed.
Our comprehensive field services ensure clients receive full support from installation to the end of the product lifecycle. Our fully trained service crew travels to your site to ensure your crushing plant operates at peak performance at all times.
Prefer to outsource plant operations entirely? Our O&M contracts let you focus on marketing your produce while we handle all logistics, planning, and maintenance. We become your dedicated operations team.
As regulations evolve, so must your operations. We specialise in retrofitting, expanding, and upgrading existing plants — whether for new environmental compliance, increased throughput, or replacing aging equipment.
From legacy landfill bio-mining to fresh MSW management — we provide end-to-end process solutions backed by decades of engineering know-how.
Start a Process ConsultationLegacy waste is excavated, conditioned and screened into defined fractions so dumpsites can be reclaimed and outputs routed responsibly.
Advanced screening and sorting systems classify fresh municipal waste into recyclables, organics, and rejects efficiently.
Comprehensive MRF design and setup ensures optimal sorting performance and maximum recyclable material recovery rates.
Municipal solid waste is processed through ballistic separators, trommel screens, and classifiers to maximise resource recovery.
Every Duromech® machine is backed by internationally recognised certifications — your assurance of world-class manufacturing standards.

Real answers to the technical questions our engineers hear most — straight from 45 years of field experience.
A Trommel Screen separates waste by particle size using a rotating drum with holes — it works best for separating fine organics and soil from larger fractions. A Ballistic Separator separates by both size and material behaviour (2D flat vs. 3D chunky) using oscillating paddles — ideal for separating films, paper, and dense plastics from mixed dry waste. In a complete MSW plant, both are often used in tandem: Trommel first, then Ballistic Separator.
Staffing depends on the waste composition, automation level, picking requirements, shift plan and local safety procedures. Duromech reviews the proposed process flow and operating model before recommending operators, sorters, supervisors and maintenance coverage for a specific plant.
Wet MSW can be processed, but moisture changes flow behaviour, screening efficiency and power demand. The line should be configured from representative seasonal samples, with suitable feeding, anti-wrapping measures, access for cleaning and covered material handling where the site requires it.
Bio-Mining (also called legacy waste remediation) is the process of excavating and processing old municipal solid waste from landfills that may be decades old. It's required when: (1) a dump yard is nearing capacity and needs to be reclaimed, (2) leachate is contaminating groundwater, or (3) SWM Rules 2016 mandate clearance of existing dumps. Duromech provides complete bio-mining solutions including excavation, trommel screening, and end-product (RDF, compost, inert fill) management.
There is no responsible one-size-fits-all ROI figure. The result depends on feed quality, uptime, recovery rates, tipping fees, product offtake, labour, power and disposal costs. Duromech can prepare a site-specific process and equipment proposal; commercial assumptions should be validated by the project owner.
Lead time depends on capacity, custom engineering, bought-out components, civil readiness and site access. A realistic schedule is issued after the process flow, equipment scope and layout are agreed; commissioning dates are then coordinated with manufacturing and civil milestones.
